SOME FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Who chooses the selection of enlargements ?
We choose a the initial selection but as you receive all proofs on CD you may print your own or have extra prints made locally.

Can we collect our photographs next day ?
Alll photographs are normally ready next day and can be collected from our office by 12 noon, on some busy days it may not be possible to keep to this and your photographs will be posted on to you within 48 hours.

We know people who have waited weeks for their photographs, how do you turn them round so quick ?.
We do many, many weddings at Gretna Green and could not afford to get behind in the processing, it actually suits us better to keep up to date and you have the bonus of taking your prints home with you.

Does the quality suffer by your fast processing times?
On the contrary, most photographers send their film etc. to Labs for processing and have little control over the quality, we process our own on site on the most up to date and high quality equipment.

We are arriving on our own, how can you take 20 plus photographs of just the two of us ?
The majority of Gretna weddings consist of the couple on their own, we take as many photographs as we would at any wedding, in fact even at large weddings we like to concentrate on the couple, it is in fact their day !.

I have never heard of a photographer handing over the negatives, is this a sales gimmick ?
Certainly not, we have always believed the customer is entitled to have their negatives, no other service charges the client for that service and then witholds part of the goods.

Do you take photographs at the hotel or just the wedding venue ?
If you are staying at the marriage venue ( i.e. Gretna Hall or The Mill Forge ) and have a wedding cake then we will include this photograph, or if you are staying locally and there is time for a cake cutting photograph this will be included, all prices however are mainly for photographs at the wedding venue.

What happens if we need to cancel ?
Cancellations are still due to be paid in full, We turn many weddings away and it may well be the case that work will be turned down in your favour, please only book with this in mind.
